Instructions to Candidates Appearing for DES Pune University’s UG & PG Entrance Exam:
  1. All questions are compulsory and there is no negative marking.
  2. Exam duration is One-hour as per the date and time slot that has been published on the website
  3. Candidates will have to complete the exam within this time window in a single attempt.
  4. Candidates applying for the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes listed at DES Pune University, Pune, will need to take the relevant UCET (Undergraduate Common Entrance Test) and PCET (Postgraduate Common Entrance Test) respectively if they do not meet any other eligibility criteria for selection.
  5. Candidates are required to take the test remotely using a Laptop/Desktop and mobile equipped with a camera and microphone, making it essential equipment for participation in the Remote AI Proctored Test.
  6. The entrance exam will have a duration of one hour and will be conducted according to the exam slot booked by the candidate.
  7. If a candidate has applied for multiple programmes, they must undertake separate examinations for each programme.
  8. Access to the examination will be granted solely to candidates who have submitted the application fee for the programmes applied.
  9. Kind Attention:
    1. Admission eligibility for undergraduate or postgraduate programmes requires successful completion of the designated Entrance Exam or Exams mandated by the University for selection. Appearing for the UCET/ PCET conducted by the DES Pune University, Pune or another specified entrance examination is a fundamental requirement for admission, in addition to other specified criteria.
    2. DES PU reserves the right to make the changes to the examination schedule.
