Offering Statement

An understanding of dynamism of the world economies has been pertinent to enable one to make better economic decisions in their lives. The B.Sc.Economics Programme of DES Pune University is a blend of economic theories that are deeply rooted in the Indian Knowledge Systems and practical understanding of functioning of the economies. It will facilitate critical thinking and learning by developing data analysis skills of the learners. It aims to hone the skills of the learners with the help of industry stalwarts.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Eligibility :

Minimum 50% aggregate score in 10+2/Class 12th or in equivalent examination with English subject (at least 45% marks, in case of Reserved Class category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only) Or Minimum 50% aggregate score in 3-year Diploma from any Govt approved Institution or equivalent with English as a subject.

Selection Criteria:

Admissions will be based on the basis of 12th HSC Merit or Equivalent Examination
