Offering Statement

The BA Civil Services and Public Policy programme is designed to provide a strong foundation in governance, public policy, and administration, aligning closely with the UPSC Civil Services Examination syllabus. This programme equips students with a deep understanding of India & political, economic, and social landscape, preparing them for careers in civil services, policy research, and public administration. With a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical insights, the programme incorporates case studies, field visits, and internships to enhance real-world applicability. Additionally, it integrates India’s rich administrative heritage with contemporary governance models, empowering students to contribute effectively to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 by fostering innovative policymaking, ethical governance, and inclusive development for a self-reliant and globally influential India.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Eligibility

Minimum 50% aggregate score in 10+2(SSC/ ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards)/Class 12th OR in equivalent examination with English subject (at least 45% marks, in case of Reserved Class category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only)

OR

Minimum 50% aggregate score in 3-year Diploma from any Govt approved Institution or equivalent with English as a subject.

Selection Criteria

Admissions will be based on the basis of 12th HSC Merit or Equivalent Examination.
